It was during the summer of 2004, while interning with BET, that she realized that her love for writing could manifest into a fulfilling career. In August 2004, the senior show writer for 106 & Park told Jennifer that her writing was extremely impressive, and encouraged her to seriously consider writing as a career. Two months later, in the fall of 2004, she published her first editorial piece in the Temple News Newspaper. Since then, Jennifer's love and dedication to writing has been very rewarding and her appreciation for writing has expanded tremendously.
